KHAKASSIA REGION, Russia
A traditional 17th century-style wooden sailing ship built by amateur shipbuilder Alexander Marchenko and his assistants is moored to a bank of the Yenisei River in the Siberian Taiga area, as one of Marchenko's assistants (front) rows a smaller boat, in Khakassia region some 520 km (323 miles) south of Krasnoyarsk, July 27, 2014. Marchenko, unexperienced in building or operating sail boats, inspired by the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie, has spent his free time on the ship for four years to achieve his childhood dreams of building a boat. He also uses the vessel as a mini-hotel for tourists, who wish to spend time in a wild nature place located in Siberian Taiga district between the Sayano-Shushenskaya and the Maynskaya hydroelectric power stations.
