SPACE ECLIPSE
RTRECZQ
27 Oct. 2004
Great Falls, UNITED STATES
The last of the moon enters the umbra, or shadow cone of the Earth, as a U.S. flag flutters in the wind atop the Inter American Development Bank in downtown Washington, October 27, 2004. The moon is seen in the initial stages of the total eclipse, and appears dark gray as opposed to white. Normally lit by reflected sunlight, the moon entered and emerged from the shadow of the Earth over a period of several hours. REUTERS/Gregg Newton GN
